Polish Pork Chops

4 Loin pork chops
3 tbsp Onion, chopped
1 cup Tomato sauce
1/2 cup Fat-Free Sour cream
1 small Dill pickle, chopped
3 tbsp Dry sherry
Salt and pepper


In a lightly greased skillet, brown chops. Cover, reduce heat and cook until almost tender (about 20 minutes). Add onion, cook until pork is tender and onions soft (about 5 minutes). Add tomato sauce, sour cream, dill pickle, sherry, salt and pepper.

I finally found a way to use up the sherry in my bar haha. I usually hate the stuff, but it's great in this recipe.

I don’t really understand the name of this recipe, but it really doesn’t matter. All I know is that it’s de-licious!

Also gave me a reason to use that bottle of sherry I have gathering dust ;-)

This recipe was flavorful and easy enough that even I could make it. It doesn't take any cooking skill at all. Even better, it doesn't take a lot of time. It's a good weeknight meal, that is, you don't have to wait until the weekend to have time for the prep and cooking.
