  • In my expereince it has been. You'll find that there are some people who are supportive, some people who are not and some who just don't care and won't comment. If the support of others means a lot to you but a negative response from one person is all it will take to derail you from your progress or make you feel bad about yourself, I would recommend not posting your progress on social media. You don't know how people will or won't react and if you need or expect them to act a certain way and they don't, this coulde be damaging.  Tha said, if you don't really care about the reactions of others and you want to post your progress for your own personal reasons, then go ahead and do it. 

    Ultimately, you need to ask yourself why you want to post it on social media. Are you doing it for yourlse or for others? If it is for others, you might not want to do it. Even if it is for you, what is the goal you are hoping to achieve. If any of your answers are not positive, I'd think twice before doing it. I hope this helps.
