This is the first time I have heard of these Detox Foot Pads. Interesting stuff.
I am a skeptic for sure, but won't knock it without trying it first, usually. However, that won't happen in this case because I won't buy something that seems like a big scam.

Foot Detox Pads, Do They Really Work? Actually, it's not the article that's good, but the discussion that follows with some people saying Detox Foot Pads are a scam and then some other very sincere and convincing people describing how they have been helped. Really interesting debate.
I guess what sticks out in my mind the most though is the comment that was made by a woman Rebecca who claims to be the owner of purifyyourbody.com (the website above that is selling the foot pads). Rebecca states,
"I have had many people "TEST" the pads in a lab... to do this correctly you need to test an un-used, un-altered pad using it as a control. Then, you test a used pad. Many lab reports show lead, arsenic, mercury, cadmium (how does one get cadmium in their system!!) and also pthlalates which are plastic by-products. This shows that the pads DO pull these heavy metals out of your body."
Well, my goodness, such scientific research. So I went to purifyyourbody.com to read about their double-blind studies and control groups and all their product research results that I just assumed they would be proud enough to display on their website as proof their product works. And I'll admit I was disappointed to find that THERE'S NOT ONE MENTION OF THEIR RESEARCH
! C'mon now, if your product was that tested and really worked that research would be smeared all over your site.
Just something to think about.
