Default I jumpstarted my weightloss using this...

I was watching an oprah special w/ dr. oz and he was talking about how beneficial the acai berry was....a natural appetite surpressant as well as energy booster...he suggested coupling that with a colon cleanse to jump start your body into weight loss, and I decided to go ahead and try it. I found a place to try it for free so i didn't have anything to lose..except the weight...and it worked!! you can read my blog if you want to know more...annasweightlossblog.com

Question Weight Loss Results with Acai Berry and Cleanse

You have an interesting blog. What kind of diet did you follow while you were taking the acai berry and cleanse?

You mention in your blog that you lost 22 pounds during the trial period. Is that 22lbs in a month then that you claim to have lost with acai berry and cleanse pills. I mean I've tried cleanse pills before and I tell ya, they may help rid your body of a few things, but nothing near 22 pounds worth.

Anyway, how bout giving us the real story how you lost all that weight, eg. what you were eating, did you exercise? There is no doubt you receive commissions for selling both the products you're toting, but honestly I don't think either one, nor if they are combined, are the only reason you lost so much weight.

Here's what I have found out about Acai Berry - I wrote a blog post about it: Acai Berry and Weight Loss

I hope you can answer my questions. Either way though, congratulations on losing so much weight, you look terrific.

Default Thanks

Hey, thanks for the compliment...I appreciate it. And YES there is more than just the "pill". And I want to set the record straight: I am not saying that this is a magic pill. I am saying that this supplement has aided me in my weight loss efforts. I think people are under the impression that this is a magic weight loss pill and it's not. It's a supplement that helps you get the nutrients you need every day and in turn helps you feel better...because you are getting the right amount of nutrients. It helps that the acai berry has fiber...because we all know, at least those who have been around the weight loss block, that fiber helps you stay fuller, longer, thus helping you eat less and you will lose weight. Because its all about the numbers. calories consumed vs calories eaten. I am just consuming less than I am burning. that's it. I take the acai berry because it adds to my diet some very helpful things....and i did the colon cleanse to help rid my body of toxins and aid in my weight loss, to help my body run cleaner if you will. As far as what I ate....vegetables, fruits, lean meats, water, lots and lots of water. You are right...there is no pill on earth that will make you lose weight. You have to make a choice to change your entire life to accomodate a healthier way of living. that means eating better foods, getting active, and trying to make your body into the temple it should be. I hope i have answered your questions....if not, i'll be around!

Anna, thanks for taking the time to give such a great reply to my questions. It is so important that we see the whole picture and understand that it wasn't just these pills that accounted for all of your weight loss, but that you also at a healthy diet and exercised. Your story is inspiring. Thanks for sharing.

Well, I kinda feel stupid. See, it's really easy to be taken in by scammers. What I'm referring to is the posts about Anna's weight loss that have been going on in the posts Acai berry via Dr. Oz...try it for free! .

Man, it certainly seemed good, but now I'm pretty sure this is just a scam. Too bad.

The truth about Acai Berry is this... it was never developed as a weight loss supplement.

It's primary function is as a detox aid. The acai berry itself is a superfruit which means it's very high in antioxidants. As a health food it's fantastic. A lot of people have reported that it does wonders for your skin, including me when I tried it.

But, although it's marketed as a weight loss supplement, I don't think it's the best out there.

However, I don't want to put off people trying it because it is a superfruit, and they are incredibly good for your general health.

I was prescribed Xenical ( I already order it at Costmeds.com ) yesterday and have started taking them. I eat a very healthy breakfast, a reasonably healthy meals there after. It's snacking between meals that does it, especially at this time of night (10pm). Now I'm also going to try Phentermine
My question is that I know I can only take 3 a day, could I not take one after breakfast and take one at lunch, dinner and later in the evening?
