As for myself, I love Pistachios more than any other snack food. But it is true that when I'm faced with a bowl of empty shells I'm not as inclined to keep eating, unlike if I just had a bag of shelled Pistachios. Shouldn't this principle hold true then for other nuts? For example, peanut shells are much bigger and it would take fewer to fill a bowl. Hmmmm, maybe I'm on to something here. The Peanut Principle
