Default Good Advice for losing weight

I turned forty today and it’s been a long time since I have really felt good about health. I need to find a diet system that works; I need to boost my energy levels too. What can I do?

Happy birthday! Over weight is probably the reason for the symptoms you have. I recently came across a program called ‘The Dieting Fix’ which is an audio guide to permanent weight loss. You can actually ensure good health by having a complete command over your emotions, says Martinez in his CD. I would recommend that you get hold of this CD.

If you are recommending this CD you must have tried it. What's the content on it about? What makes it worth buying? There is not much helpful information provided about this CD on the official website.

you might want to start slow with exercise and dieting. Eating well balanced food thats low in fat with a good cardio program. Also remember to drink plenty of water

The answer is two-fold: diet and exercise.

10-12 calories per lb of body weight is a good place to start for weight loss.

Then you need to exercise: cardio, weight training, etc.

You need to do both of these to be successful.

I'm really a slow drinker of water. How much water is advised when its one of your techniques for weightloss? Someone once told me to drink 10, I tried it, but got all woozy after. sigh. Is that normal?

I'm pretty sure the rule of thumb for drinking enough water is drinking eight 8-ounce glasses a day. I try to always start my day by filling up my 64 ounce water bottle and then I sip on it during the day. I've never been a big water drinker myself, but at least this way I always have it on hand when I'm thirsty or remember to drink something. Also, if you ever feel hungry between meals, drinking a big glass of cold water can sometimes kill the hunger pangs.

Default water

I've been on so many diets-- have lost at leat 200lbs in my lifetime, maybe more. Every diet I've been on and lost weight, was always told to drink water. Never did it. Still lost weight. Don't know why it's necessary to drink water except that it fills your stomach.
My problem is eating at night. I can't sleep. Had the problem for many years. My father was an insomniac as well.
Maybe if there are other insomniacs here, I can talk with them at night!
Instead of eating.

Exercise, especially yoga and walking, and plenty of green vegetables will keep you fit and young. You have to cut out the oil and drink plenty of water.

Well, the most important thing is not to stave yourself. Eat fruits and vegetables, those are not only healthy, but also helps you take away toxins that blocks fat burning, because fruits and vegetable contain fibers.
