i have been trying a low carb diet. not as strict as atkins, but just very low carb. i'm losing weight, but in the process i feel a drastic decline in my sex drive. is this normal? has anyone else had this happen on a low-carb diet.
Well if you are on a diet you are naturally going to have less energy and therefore have less energy for your sex drive. However, this effect is most common with low protein diets rather than low carb.
But if you really find it a problem, for the love of God eat something!
yes, it makes sense now that i think about it. my diet has been lower than usual in the amount of protein. i'll add more protein to my diet and hopefully feel better soon.
do you have any suggestions of high protein foods that are low in fat and cals?
