Question How about food

What are some foods that I can eat that will help me stay motivated and happy so I'll feel like I have more energy, I'll feel good and I'll be more pumped to workout?

Fruits and vegetables. I know it might sound odd but you'll actually be happier in the long run and get a much bigger charge from eating an apple than you will a chocolate bar.

I agree with madscientist. When you choose to eat healthy foods you will not only feel good but you will have more energy too. The key is to stay away from too many carbs and high-sugar foods with no benefits.

Exactly jenny25. When you do eat good foods you will feel better and you will have more energy and feel less tired. Take the garbage out of your diet and you're less likely to feel like trash :)

So you're saying that if I eat an apple I'll feel more energized than if I were to eat chocolate that contained caffeine? It's not that I don't believe it...but it just seems like the other snack would be better at giving you a mental and physical boost. What is it in fruits and vegetables that make you feel energized?

Sugar, vitamins, minerals and fiber. The difference between fruits and vegetables and a chocolate bar, for instance, is that fruits and vegetables can be better digested by your body and they provide you with fuel your body can use for longer. The sugar in this food lasts longer because it is digested slower due to the fiber in the food.
