Default Mental weight loss

I'm curious. Is there a weight loss program that focuses on changing the way you think about weight loss which can actually help you to lose weight? What I mean is a weight loss plan that doesn't tell you what to eat or how to exercise but that tells you how to think.

I think The Manhattan Diet is a good one. Apparently it's really good way to train your brain to lose weight. It helps you to define your trigger foods and trains your brain to give up your favorite foods.

I think the "French Women Don't Get Fat" diet does something like that. Essentially, I think you're looking for a diet plan that essentially changes your relationship with food and how you think about eating.

I think the 20/20 diet from Dr. Phil is actually pretty good cause it concentrates on your relationship with food and not just on a diet plan.

I don't think dr phil is someone I would trust to give me diet advice. He's not an expert in that field and I don't trust tv celebrities, especially doctors...but thanks for your suggestion anyway :)

The two other diets you guys suggested look interesting though :)

I also think that the Manhattan diet is the best one for what you're looking for. It has been designed to train your brain into not giving into cravings. I think you can buy the book on Amazon if you're interested in see what it's about.

I couldn't agree more. Dr. Phil and other TV doctor celebrities like Dr. Oz are not people you should be turning to when it comes to healthful weight loss. While I'm sure they're well intended (although I'm sure the money they get is appealing too) they are not weight loss gurus or professionals. If you want the advice of a doctor regarding weight loss, speak to your own medical professional.

As for a good mental health weight loss diet, I would honestly recommend following a diet like the Mediterranean Diet. While it doesn't focus on mental health, the diet makes a lot of sense and you shouldn't find it so restrictive that you'll be getting the blues.
