Hi and Welcome! It's always good to meet a new person here
I read your post and I immediately recalled a conversation I had with my mother-in-law last night. I was telling her how I was going to the gym five days a week and she replied, "Well, you must be able to eat anything you want if you're exercising like that". I was quick to correct her however. You see, even with all that exercise, if I don't also cut back on the calories I eat I will lose very little weight, if any at all

.
I understand the dilemma you have about having to cook for your family. What I would recommend is to decrease the portion size of your meals if you actually can't change what you're eating. This would be the best place to start. If smaller portions leave you still feeling hungry then top off your meals with a big handful of salad with some fat-free dressing.
I think that following a vigorous exercise program like you are doing can definitely help you lose weight - just reduce your calorie intake. Try to avoid dieting pitfalls, such as drinking energy drinks and eating power bars before or after workouts that so many gym-goers do. Also, remember to incorporate both aerobic and anaerobic activities into your workouts and mix up the exercises.
I hope this has helped

. Keep up the amazing effort!
