If you want to lose weight you obviously have to cut back on your daily calorie intake. But if you really want your diet to be successful you have to cut back on your “bad carbs” this means NO pasta, bread, rice or any type of bleached flour. You can have carbs if they are from fruits and vegetables, or dairy products but only in moderation. So your diet will be high protein, low fat and low carbohydrate.
If you combine this diet with 30 min worth of exercise every day, you will see the pounds melt away. I lost 50 pounds on this diet. In fact I lose 30 pounds in the first month alone!
The key is to eat about 1500-1800 calories a day while following the low carbohydrate, low fat, high protein plan. For example your breakfast will be a fruit smoothie (add protein powder or tufu to the shake) Lunch will be a salad with seafood or chicken. Dinner will be a lean ham steak with your choice of vegetables on the side. Just keep it low fat, low carbs, higher protein.
You have to weight yourself every day on this diet though, that will keep you honest.
