  • Cranberry Sauce with Apricot = Festive!

I made this with my parents the other night and it's actually very healthy and a different from the same old cranberries & sugar or cranberries in a can.
It only takes 5 minutes to prep and about 15 minutes to cook.

    The ingredients you need are:
12 oz fresh or frozen cranberries,
    1/2 cup water
    1/4 cup spreadable orange fruit
1/2 cup dried apricot halves, chopped
    1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce

Over medium-high heat mix together all the ingredients in a pot. Cook until all the cranberries have popped (about 10 minutes.)

    Cool and serve!

Looks good. High in sugar, but really tasty and a great way to eat more cranberries, which are healthy. One question (from a guy who doesn't cook too much, sorry): What is spreadable orange fruit?
