    Other diaries

Aside from food tracking, are there other diaries that you can keep that would be beneficial for weight loss?

I never thought about keeping other diaries but this does actually make a lot of sense. I bet you'd find a lot of correlation between your moods and your eating habits and things. Maybe being aware of how you feel can help you to recognize patterns and help you to not make poor choices because you're more aware.

Good luck! Those both sound like great diaries to keep. My eating habits and cravings definitely change based on the mood I'm in. Hope it works out for you :D

What about an exercise tracking diary? You can track when you exercise during the day, for how long, what you did, and how you felt afterwards. This might give you an idea of what you like to do, and whether or not you're overdoing it etc. You could also set challenges for yourself, such as working out for longer or burning more calories, etc.

I'd recommend the same. Recording how you feel may actually give you a better idea of your moods or help you see patterns in behavior that may help you to make changes that can lead to more positive moods and positive behavior that may benefit weight loss.
