I'm wondering something about Hoodia diet pill products. Is the trouble that hoodia doesn't work or that the herb is often combined with other ingredients that decrease its effectiveness, that are dangers or that not enough hoodia is used in supplements for it to really work. I do feel that this herb must cause appetite suppression so I just don't get why there never seem to be any products on the market that contain it that are actually beneficial for appetite suppression or weight loss.

I think it's both. Hoodia itself has not been proven to work, there's like only one human study that's ever been done and the results were not promising and it showed that those who took it also suffered some unpleasant side effects. Personally, I wouldn't put much stock in Hoodia. If you can, choose something else.

Interesting. I thought that there were more human studies than that on Hoodia. That's surprising. Okay. I guess I'll just steer clear of it. I have a feeling it's one of those things that won't necessarily be problematic for me in regard to side effects but will just be a whole pile of wasted money, which is something else that I don't want.

Yeah, I'm one of the people who think Hoodia is a waste of time. There just isn't enough science behind it for it to be worth taking for weight loss. I'd rather take nothing than take hoodia.
