I have to say that I've really appreciated this discussion about coconut water. I've not only started mixing it with drinks to make them healthier but I've also started to cook with it!

One question I have about that is can you cook electrolytes out of coconut water? Also, I heard coconut oil isn't good for you in high quantities. Is there oil in coconut water?

I don't think there is coconut oil in coconut water. I don't know about cooking electrolytes.

I'm pretty sure that you're right about that, speedemon. The coconut oil is actually pressed out of the flesh, but the coconut water is the liquid that is inside when you first break it open.
