Apparently this happened in May, but I'm just hearing about this now. Apparently Dr. Oz admitted his mistake for endorsing "miracle" weight loss supplements. I have to say, I'm shocked. I never though he actually would claim that he did. Is anyone else surprised by this?

I agree with Anne. I think we can all make mistakes. I think Dr. Oz is a human first before he's a doctor or a celebrity and humans make mistakes. I still like him and I find that a lot of the advice he gives makes a lot of sense. People need to really move on and let this go, now.

I have to say that I like Dr. Oz and I think he just made a mistake. I know a lot of people won't agree with me, but the man is only human and I don't think he made any of the claims he did with ill intent. I think it was good that he apologized and I think he's still a good doctor. The fact that he admitted his mistake makes him a pretty decent person in my books.

Honestly, I think it's good that he did admit his mistake. I hope he's learned from this experience.

I'm not surprised by it. It sounds like he's just doing what he can to save his reputation. Personally, I feel like no matter what he endorses at this point can't be trusted. It's great that he admitted his mistake, and all, and I know he's only human and humans make mistakes and blah blah blah, but he's essentially proven that he's a television celebrity first and a doctor second.
