Buy whole fresh foods, fruits and vegetables not processed foods. During the processing process all the good stuff in the food gets removed and then they replace it with what I call synthetic stuff like hydrogenated oils, sugar and corn syrup. All these things will make you gain weight not lose weight. Make sure you read your food labels and don't buy anything with a lot of sugar in it or corn oil or hydrogenated oils.

Hi Lydiapurple, I’m Char. I totally agree with you. In fact, it’ll not only help you to lose weight when you cut out the processed foods and eat more fresh fruits and veggies, but it also helps to keep bloating under control.
This way, you look slimmer as you lose weight!

It really is, Lydiapurple! As though I don't feel rough enough about myself on some days, I don't need any extra
I also found that drinking fennel tea will help with that. Just don’t add any sugar to it or you may as well just be eating those processed foods

A little trick i use is to buy fresh fruits and veggies for the days immediately after I shop, and frozen ones for later on in the week, so that I don't have to shop more, but I always have lots of fruits and veg. Frozen fruits and vegetables hang onto almost all of their nutrients. The trick is not to buy the kind that comes in sauces as they're usually very high in sugars and sodium. Canned vegetables are also very high in sodium.Originally posted by Lydiapurple View PostBuy whole fresh foods, fruits and vegetables not processed foods.

You're right about that! An added benefit is that by eating fruit after a meal, I feel like I'm having something sweet like a dessert, so I still get that feeling that I've had a full meal including all of the courses.Originally posted by malinamartis View Posteating fresh fruits after your every meal that will give you essential nutrients to your body
