Weight loss support group
I would like to join a local weight loss support group in person. Do those even exist? How would I go about finding one? Also, if anyone has been to one, is this a good idea? Is it very supportive or am I going to feel even worse about myself if I go?Tags: None

It's really hard to put yourself out there like that, even if you are going to a group with people who are struggling with the same stuff as you, you know?

I think the best thing that you can do tammybear is to do an online search using keywords including the city/town you live in as well as words like "weight loss" and "support' and "support group", stuff like that. You could also go to our local recreational center or contact the city to see if there are any options. Good luck :)
bigbobby you're skype suggestion is also an interesting idea. If I don't find something I might do that.

I would also say that conducting an online search is your best bet. If you don't find anything local, maybe you might be able to find something online where you can still talk to people face to face, like Skype or something like that.
