I know that's a strange subject line, but what I want to know is if there is support for people who are struggling with a loved one who is overweight/obese who they are worried about or who they are trying to support. You know, others who they can talk to (professional or not) who understand the situation or who may be going through something similar?

I get what you mean, but I don't know if groups like that exist, at least not in the way that they do when dealing with problem gambling, and substance abuse, and certain mental health conditions. I think the best place to look for support might be on forums like this one. That said, if you're looking for professional support, maybe ask your local health department to see if there is anything like that available. :)

Yes. I'm feeling emotional about it all. The person who I'm struggling with is having a hard time and while I am sympathetic and sad for them, I'm also getting frustrated and I find myself more and more wanting to distance myself from them than actually helping them now. It's a terrible feeling. I feel like such a bad person but I don't know what to do. :(
