Telehealth makes it so much easier

I used to avoid talking to my doctor about weight loss topics because it was such a pain to have to make an appintment, wait forever (and she's always late) and then just ask a question. Telehealth makes it so much easier to just ask a quesiton and even if the appointment is late then at least it's on the phone so i don't have to sit in a waiting room forever.

It's true! I'm actually following through on more "talk to your doctor before you change your..." diet pills, exercise routine, eating habits, etc. It's so much faster when it's just a phone call, so I end up doing it.

Are these less expensive than having to go in person? Do insurance policies cover telehealth appointments in the same way that they cover the in person ones. I haven't tried that yet but I think I would like it a lot more because there isn't any need for me to actually be there for my doc to answer my weight loss questions.

Good point! I like anything that lets me make appointments online and either talk online or on the phone. So much better than a doctor's office when specific tests aren't necessary, when I just want advice or something like that.
