Did you know marshmallows aren't vegan? If you make a veggie dish like sweet potato casserole and put normal marshmallows on top, you're adding gelatin - most often pork gelatin - so your dish isn't right for people who are vegan or who don't eat pork. Just a heads up because this was news to me as I get ready for Thanksgiving.

I really never thought of marshmallows having pork in them. Is all gelatin made from pork? I thought it was that jelly stuff in jell-o. I've got some googling to do!
