Lifestyle or short term
Is this diet really meant to be used as a lifestyle or a jumping off point for weight loss?Tags: None

Yeah. I mean, lowering your carb intake is important if you want to lose weight, but you don't need to eliminate it to the Atkins degree, if only because so few people can follow this diet normally. I think it's time a new diet started trending that was all about being healthy.

Any diet that makes it hard for you to live a normal life (unless you need to follow it for serious health reasons and its doctor recommended) isn't likely something that's practical for your lifestyle.

That's what I was thinking. I just can't see myself doing this for life. It just doesn't seem natural.

I think it's supposed to be a lifestyle. If you use it only as a jumping off point, you'll balloon up once you stop it. That's kinda the problem with Atkins and Keto. They do give you fast results, but the diets are just too difficult for the average person to keep up with naturally.
