    What is the noom diet?

Anyone else heard of the Noom Diet? What is it? I'm looking for a good diet for weight loss that isn't too extreme but that also has a bit more direction than following The Mediterranean, for example. Thoughts? Opinions?

I agree! I hate the ads for this diet and it does look like a flaming scam. I would say avoid it.

That said, thanks for all the info so far guys. Based on what you've all said, it seems to sound like a pretty decent diet and a rip off of the stop-light/traffic light diet LOL. Is it free?

Sort of. You get the app and follow the advice for dieting. However, what makes it pretty good and why people tend to like it is that it connects you to a supportive network. it function using a community-based approach, which can be very effective at helping people lose extra pounds during their weight loss journey and maintain what they've lost because you have a community of people supporting you along the way. :D

Via the app you can also track your dieting and exercise progress, and stuff like that. It doesn't look like a bad diet, but doesn't look like anything revolutionary, either.
