I started just tracking my calories . I didn't do it for any real reason except to find out where I stand. I've been eating double, sometimes triple what I should in a day! I need to get things sorted out. No wonder I can't lose! I highly recommend using a calorie tracker for a few days. you'll learn so much about your habits!

I know what you mean! I'm not tracking right now, but I do every now and again, and whenever I think I'm pretty sure I can just ballpark it in my head instead of using a tracker, I always surprise myself at how off the mark I am, both by overestimating AND underestimating!

Same here! I never realized how those little ?extras? added up until I tracked everything for a week. One surprise for me was my morning coffee?I was adding more than 100 calories just with sugar and creamer. I switched to using organic milk powder instead, and it made things way easier to portion and keep the calories lower without losing the creaminess.Last edited by BenlaDanny; 05-29-25, 06:48 AM.
