Hey everyone. I know that we hear a lot that we're supposed to be getting at least 8, eight ounce glasses of water per day, but that's actually a little too much for the average person. While you definitely should be drinking water to flush out your system, too much isn't necessarily good for you either and could be bloating you up. Don't forget that you do get water from other beverages you drink, as well as from your food. So when it comes to ingesting water, use common sense. It's better to sip on water throughout the day, than drown yourself in it.

I always thought the same thing Nelly. Honestly, I really feel like every time we turn around we're being told something different and conflicting about how to be healthy. I really think if you want to know how much water you should be drinking, talk to your doctor about it. You can't listen to the news.Originally posted by Nelly View PostReally? I always thought that you needed to drink 2 liters a day to be healthy. When did that change?

I agree that it does seem like there are always new health studies coming out that are contradicting other health studies, but when you think about not needing copious amounts of water a day it really does make sense. Think about all the sources where you may be getting water: tea, juice, drink mixes made with water, whole fruits and vegetables, etc. I would definitely say if you're going to have a beverage choose water more often than not or have a large glass beside you and sip it throughout the day, but don't drown yourself in it. Too much of anything isn't good for you.Originally posted by 1000kw View PostI always thought the same thing Nelly.
