Oh, I thought of a tip to share. When I get hungry in the evenings (after dinner of course) I brush my teeth. Not only does the peppermint taste curb my hunger a bit, but then I'm less likely to eat something because my teeth are already brushed. Whether it's the peppermint flavor or sheer laziness that prevents me eating I don't know, but it seems to work most of the time.
