What happened to Ionamin
Wasn't their a diet drug called Ionamin? It was like a yellow capsule I think. Does it still exist?Tags: None

A lot. But honestly, that doesn't matter. If you're in the US, the only ones that apply to you are phentermine (generic name drug) and Adipex-P (prescription brand name phentermine drug). There is also Qsymia which is made up of two drugs, one of them being phentermine and the other topiramate. Other than that, I don't think there are any other FDA approved drugs for weight loss that are either phentermine-based or that include this drug.Originally posted by Ron View Post
Me neither! How many different types of Phentermine are there?

I didn't even know there were other types of brand name phentermine beyond Adipex-P LOL. What in the heck is a resin complex???

Ionamin was a phentermine resin complex. The brand name Ionamin doesn't exist anymore. There may still be generic versions of it, but typically it's not prescribed in the US anymore.

Hmmm, haven't heard that name in a while. I think it's not sold in the US but may be available in other markets, if what you're referring to is that slow release phentermine pill thing.
