Machine for get overall body workout

I'm thinking of getting an exercise machine that will give my body a full over-all workout. Does anyone know what machine can do that, won't cost a fortune and won't take up a lot of space and can be easily folded up and put away when I'm not using it? Does such a machine exist or am I just dreaming LOL!

Thanks for all the suggestions, though!
You can obtain a rowing machine at a low cost, new or used (if this machine interests you). I recommend shopping around for some holiday sales. Even without sales you can find a brand new one for just over $100 which is pretty cheap. Of course, it all depends on the types of specs you want in the machine. Also, some machine can fold up. Again depends on the design. :)

These are all really good suggestions, especially the rowing machine if you can do that one. It really works out your arms, legs and your core.

That's a good one, and so is an elliptical or strider machine.

I agree with bruceH. It's not easy finding a cheap machine that will provide you with everything you want. I mean, definitely research it, if that's what you want, but what you're looking for sounds pretty specific and because you want to be able to fold it up easily, that will likely add to the cost. I'd recommend determining the size of your budget and search within those parameters.

Hmmm...the only machine I can think of off the top of my head is a the Total Gym...it can fold up and will give your body a full workout...but, I'm pretty sure it costs a fortune haha. It's really difficult to recommend a good machine for that that won't be expensive. I think if you want to give yourself an overall body workout and save money, I would forget about an all-in-one machine, get one that can provide you with some good cardio and then focus on doing strength training exercises that use your body for resistance (e.g. Pilates or Yoga) and/or get yourself a pair of dumbbells.
