Has anyone else heard this news about the hormone leptin and weight loss? Apparently American researchers investigated if there was a way to reduce excessive weight while still retaining bone loss. Apparently studies involving leptin found that the hormone helped to decrease weight without any bone loss. It was administered like gene therapy or something. I don't really understand all that, but it sounded interesting.
Here's the link so you can check it out and see what you think Leptin Gene Therapy Could Aid Weight Loss Without Risks Of Bone Loss : LIFE : Tech Times

Interesting, but I'm far more interested in what they will find when they actually test it on humans and not just rats.

That is an interesting study. Thanks for sharing Kyra. It'll be neat to see what research finds when the gene therapy is actually tested on humans and not just rats.
