I'm going to be having laser eye surgery next month. Will I need to really reduce how much I exercise after the surgery or do you think I'll be able to exercise as normal?

I completely agree. Don't guess about this. Find out what you may or may have to avoid. Certain things can make the pressure rise in your eyes, like lifting things that are heavier than 10 pounds, etc. Depending on the type of surgery you're going for, don't be surprised if you need to take it easy for a while, even from doing certain activities that you had no idea have any effect on your eyes.Originally posted by Nelly View PostYou probably will. Ask your doctor. They will tell you what you should or should not do in regard to exercise.

You'll probably have to take it easy for a couple of weeks. This is kind of true of most surgeries. Your body is healing so you shouldn't over do it. You never know what you could injure, and honestly the last thing you want to do after having surgery is making the healing process longer than it has to be. But, yeah, as everyone else has said, as your surgeon about exercise and other things you might have to avoid while you heal.
