I know weight can make veracose veins worse but if I lose weight will they also go away?

In addition to not being cheap, there is some recovery time involved as well. This isn't just some simple procedure you get and you're back to normal as soon as you leave the doctor's office. I agree with everyone else that they won't go away on their own without surgery. Losing weight, wearing compression stockings and stay off your feet as much as possible and resting your legs so that they are elevated above your heart can help ease discomfort, but that's about it. Once you got them you've got them.
