  • Max fiber per day

What's the easiest way for me to get all the fiber I need in one day? I'm not great with eating high-fiber foods. Is there a way that I can make some kind of shake or smoothie I can drink that will just give me the nutrients I need?

You should be able to get a good dose with a smoothie. That said, it's a good idea to get fiber from different sources, including fruits, vegetables and grains.

I would recommend just eating a giant salad for lunch. That's often how I get all my vegetables and fiber in. :D

Consider adding ingredients like hemp seeds, chia seeds, flax, oats, leafy greens, vegetables, squash, shredded coconut, berries. Those will help with getting added fiber.

That said, I don't think there is one drink you can chug down to get all the fiber you need all at once. It really is best to include it with every meal, because fiber also aids with digestion and can help you to feel fuller longer, too!

I agree. I mean, if that's something you need to do on occasion, that's fine, but if you're doing it as a lifestyle, there's more to getting adequate fiber than through a smoothie.

I find that you can get a lot of fiber from soups, too. Beans, lentils, barley are all great things to add to soups to help up your fiber intake in addition to adding other vegetables, etc. :)

Thanks for all the suggestions. I'm not overly fond of salad, but I appreciate the smoothie tips and I forgot all about soups. Thanks for that suggestion lia :D

I used to struggle hitting my fiber goals without feeling super full or bloated, but adding organic whey protein powder https://www.znaturalfoods.com/produc...solate-organic into my morning smoothie really helped. It doesn?t mess with my stomach and gives me extra protein without the heaviness, which balances things when I?m loading up on high-fiber foods like beans or veggies all day. I just make sure to drink plenty of water to keep everything moving.
