  • It's great to finally get a conversation going between us. I feel better just knowing that I can share my ups and downs with someone who isn't going to judge.

    I agree that it probably won't take years for you to lose the weight you want to lose. There are lots of people who seem to lose large amounts of weight rather quickly just with eating a healthy diet and getting more exercise. Look at Drew Carey for example - it took him no time to lose 70 pounds. He probably has different support than us for losing weight, but still, if he can do it so can we right?

    So, do you have any ideas about how we can get ourselves drinking more water every day? I've heard you are supposed to drink eight 8 oz glasses, or 64 oz. I'm lucky if I drink half that much in a day. I have tried using a large water bottle and keeping it with me during the day, but that doesn't work. I am thinking about getting an egg timer and setting the alarm for every 30 minutes so I remember to drink. What do you think?
