  • Yes, fish oil is supposed to be amazing for you. I have heard that it is recommended we eat at least two servings of fish each week. I rarely eat fish myself, but I think it is something I would like to start. I just hate how it makes my house smell like the sea for the next day.

I saw your picture of your pepper, mushroom and onion stirfry - it looked really yummy. Salsa as a dip is a really good idea. I guess you could add some boiled chicken to this dish for some protein. I might have to make this tonight.

You mention eating baby bites and it's so true. Eating fast only makes you overeat. I am so bad at this. I'm not sure why I feel so rushed when I eat, cause I'm not. I really want to try to eat slower and enjoy my food more instead of scoffing it down so quickly. My husband makes fun of me that I'm always finished my meal before he is, and he gets larger servings than me. I laugh about it, but I also feel embarrassed about it.

You would think that with all that healthy fiber in your diet constipation wouldn't be a problem, but I think it is really common when dieting. I seem to have the same trouble from time to time. Drinking lots of water is definitely going to help. I also swear by fiber one cereal and raisin bran. I know they may not be as calorie-conscious as they should be, but they keep my digestive system moving along. Perhaps you could sprinkle some toasted bran on your cereal in the morning if it doesn't add too many calories. Or another thing I have done is added a tablespoon of ground flax seed to my oatmeal on occasion. Not only is ground flax seed high in fiber, but also contains omega fatty acids (like those in fish oils).

Well, let's both grab a big glass of water and drink it down. Cheers! I hope your weekend is peaceful and relaxing.
