Good idea. It still works if you bring your laptop into the kitchen, but the tablet sure is more convenient there. I tried it on my smartphone, and it's just a bit too small to really use, but I'll be a lot of people will be using this on tablets as they become more common. It's good to have this kind of converter handy on the fly. That's where the real benefit is.

If you have to cut the calories that you take in and boost the calories that you burn off in order to lose weight then how much do you have to do per day to be effective? I mean how much more do I have to burn and how much less do I have to eat to get real weight loss going?

I just realized that this can be even more convenient than using my laptop when I went and tested it out on my new tablet. When I use the browser, these tools still work (I’m just getting used to a tablet so maybe that’s nothing revolutionary, but it’s exciting to me). This will make it very handy to have these weight loss tools wherever I go. Especially when cooking.

How often should I eat?
Most people can eat 3 regular meals and 1 snack every day. The 3 meals should be about the same size and should be low in fat. Try to eat 1 to 2 cups of fruits and vegetables, 2 to 3 ounces of whole grains and 1 to 2 ounces of meat (or a meat alternative) at most meals.

I think that if you want to lose weight, then the goal is to try to eat five or six smaller meals instead of the "standard" three. That said, if you're getting your three squares in every day, that's still far better than the people who skip meals, which is awful for weight loss.

The point is to try to eat a small amount, but regularly, so that your metabolism never stops running. That way, it doesn't slow down and you burn the maximum amount of calories :D

0 # What are the best methods for weight loss after pregnancy?lydia 2012-01-19 16:27
Can I continue my weight loss during pregnancy?
Weight loss during pregnancy is not advised, pregnancy is a time for the mother and unborn child to gain weight. Losing weight during pregnancy should therefore be undertaken only if:
1. He woman finds out she is gaining weight to quickly than is considered healthy.
2. The woman was obese before she came pregnant.
3. Her obstetrician, gynecologist or doctor recommends losing weight.
4. She does not deprive herself of the foods and nutrients that are needed for a healthy pregnancy. She should also allow herself enough rest and sleep. And no stress

Weight loss during pregnancy is not advised unless these problems are present.

What are the best methods for weight loss after pregnancy?
Just as it’s best to put weight on slowly and steadily during your pregnancy. You need to be slow and steady in losing the weight after the birth. The best way to get your body back in shape is breastfeeding. But if you are looking to exercise, gentle exercise is advised such as walking, swimming or yoga. You must wait at least 6 weeks after a normal birth and 8 weeks after a c-section before considering exercising. Also weight loss after the pregnancy consists of eating healthy but being careful not to deprive yourself of any nutrients, especially when breastfeeding.

I love having all of these different tools all in one place where I can bookmark them and then just have them available whenever I need them. I bring my laptop with me virtually everywhere, which means that I can use these tools when I want to. I think that’s very handy.

This is an incredible list of free resources to help with weight loss. It's impressive to see so many options available all in one place. I applaud this site for its thorough efforts to make a difference for those of us who are struggling with weight but who are legitimately trying to overcome the problem and its associated risks.
