Tonalin CLA is a product of the Cognis Group that uses a common ingredient in weight loss supplements called conjugated linoleic acid (CLA) in order to help people lose weight. The ingredient is, in the case of this product, extracted from safflower oil and claims to help to break down fats from food so that less of it will be taken in and stored by the body of the user. It is to be used alongside a healthy diet and a regular exercise routine for the best results.

That being said, many health experts, including the Mayo Clinic, are saying that there is far more hype about CLA than there are results. Though there may be some fat loss, they say, it is unlikely that the ingredient will actually cause an overall reduction in body fat in the user. Furthermore, it causes many unpleasant side effects such as indigestion, diarrhea, and other mild to severe gastrointestinal problems.

Furthermore, the FDA has recently banned a series of drugs by Hydroxycut, another diet drug company, which included CLA in their ingredients. Though it has not yet been ascertained what was causing the liver problems among a rare number of users, many doctors and diet experts are pointing fingers at the CLA, about which very little is still known.

Tonalin CLA and Weight Loss – Do Tonalin CLA Diet Pills Work?

Though Tonalin CLA may have some efficacy as a diet pill, its results are likely to be similar to hundreds of other weight loss products on the market. However, CLA is proving to have other health benefits other than weight loss that other diet pills do not offer, such as fighting cancer.
