Miss Fit Skinny Tea Reviews

Miss Fit Skinny Tea is a 28 day tea-based detox program that claims to be able to help dieters to kickstart their results. The product is sold with a free infuser which means that other than a teacup and hot water, everything is provided within the same box.

That said, this product is far from inexpensive. The tea and its “free” infuser is sold for €44.99 at the time of the writing of this review. The saving grace regarding this amount is that it is meant for only 28 days and is not meant to be continued as an ongoing expense. Still, this product would need to have some rather rare or premium ingredients in its formula in order to justify such an expensive price tag.

The Miss Fit Skinny Tea is made with a blend of 10 natural ingredients. The official website claims that these substances have been traditionally used for the purpose of boosting energy levels, reducing weight and improving skin health. Those ingredients include: Hibiscus, Jasmine, Lotus Leaf, Chamomile, Pu'Erh Leaf, Sencha Green Tea, Lemongrass, Rhubarb Root, Fennel, and Garcinia Cambogia Extract.

Unfortunately, among all those ingredients, the only one specifically associated with weight loss in a meaningful way in scientific research is the green tea. While many of the others are commonly found in herbal remedies, including diet pills, there simply isn’t enough science behind them to know if they’re truly beneficial, how much needs to be used to make them effective (assuming they are) and how much is considered to be dangerous or toxic.

They also claim that they don’t “stuff” their tea with “unnecessary, useless ingredients,” and therefore it is safe to use in conjunction with “the pill.” This is a very strangely worded claim, because there doesn’t seem to be any direct connection between the usefulness of a weight loss supplement ingredient and a formula’s compatibility with hormone based birth control pills.

Indeed, it’s true that many detox teas contain senna leaf, which can cause contraceptive pills to work strangely or to become ineffective. Moreover, some laxatives can reduce medication absorption, which includes but is certainly not limited to the birth control pill. However, just because those two types of ingredients aren’t found in this formula, it doesn’t automatically mean that those that do make up the formulation won’t conflict with this type of prescription medication.

To use this product, it is meant to be steeped in hot water for 3 to 5 minutes and consumed up to 4 times per day.
